Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript has not been published in magazines or other journals. Lantanida Journal will be published twice a year (2 volume).
  2. Only 8 selected articeles will be published in each Lantanida Journal issue (8 articles per volume). In a year contain of 16 articles.
  3. The manuscript is written in Bahasa Indonesia or English and is completed with abstracts of 100-150 words in English or Bahasa Indonesia. If the article is in Bahasa Indonesia then the abstract is in English or vice versa. Keywords are at least 3 words.
  4. The script is written with a length 12-15 pages A4 format, left margin is 3 cm, top, right, and bottom margin is 2.5 cm, Font type is Times New Roman 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, left-right (justify).
  5. The article contains the title, author name, institution, author's email, abstract, keyword, introduction (containing the background of the problem, problem formulation, research objectives, research benefits and theoretical foundations), research methods, (contains research methods supported by theoretical foundations), research results and discussion (containing research results supported by theoretical foundations), conclusions, suggestions, and referrence.
  6. The manuscript is written using the standard scientific writing procedure (supplemented with bibliographic lists and necessary citations). The source of the quote is made in the form of a footnote, with rules: name (without title), title of book (italic), city, publisher, year of publication, and page number.
  7. The title of the article no more than 15 words by using capital letters and followed by the name of the author under it with the format center flat (center).
  8. The author's identity on the title page contains the name (without title), the name of the institution, and the author's email.
  9. The chapter is written by capital letter, justify without number. Example: RESEARCH METHOD.
  10. Sub-section, is written by capital letter at the beginning of the word, justify without number, and not using numbering convension. Example: Conceptual Design Model.
  11. Numbering in text using Arabic numerals if the order is required, otherwise no numbering is required. Example: (1) readiness in learning, expected to be built through material summary feature, pre-recuisit material, simulator, and discussion among learners through forum; (2) the search for meaning, will be facilitated by the presentation of comprehensive teaching materials; (3) meaningful learning, ultimately expected to be created through repetitive repetition.
  12. Pictures and tables should be placed as close as possible to the corresponding text. Avoid using color images and tables, because the journal will be printed in black and white. The image file must be included in .gif, .jpg, .bmp, .pct, .png, .psd format. All images and tables must be accompanied by a description and image number or table. Example: (1) Figure 1. Procedural Method of Learning Development Stage of Puzzle Game Making; (2) Table 1. Summary of Homogenity Test Results.
  13. Reference must have sources from journal/article published in the last of 10 years, books, newspapers, and other trusted sources. It is also expected that the reference will consist of updated international journals. The number of references at least comes from 15 different sources or more (can be articles/books/newspaper articles/government regulations) with clear sources.
  14. Writing a reference list arranged alphabetically by the author's principal (last name in front). Title of the Book (italics). City of Publisher: Publisher. and the year it rises. If the referral source is an article in the journal, the title of the article is quoted and the name of the journal is italic. Examples: (1) Amsal, Azhar. (2014). Human and Science, The Concept Berbasis Al-Qur'an. Banda Aceh: Ar-Raniry Press. (2) Cowden, C. D., dan Santiago, M. F. (2016). Interdisciplinary Explorations: Promoting Critical Thinking via Problem-Based Learning in an Advanced Biochemistry Class. Journal of Chemical Education, 93(3), 464-469.
  15. The manuscript is sent in a file with Microsoft Word (.doc or docx) format or (.rtf) to Portal: Lantanida Journal
